MapsGPS for Pebble - Smartwatch maps and directions App Reviews

Ive used this app for a few days and do not find it very useful. Getting the app to connect to my Pebble was a struggle. Once connected, the directions did not give me enough notice when I needed to turn. For example, on exits it gave me no indication I needed to exit. The watch indicated a straight arrow. Only when I needed to turn left or right once on the exit did it give an instruction. Ill try it for a few more days but so far not impressed or confident it would lead me in the right direction

In theory, this app could be great for navigating around the city, however it still has a loooong way to go. It frequently loses connection, and when it does actually connect, the directions never update.

I just spent $2 and all I get is a black screen that says gps started at the bottom. Save your money. This developer seems to have lost interest in it but continues to leave it for suckers like me

Just a complete waste of money. Just use google maps and the built in Pebble notifications integration. Way better and free!

The app could be great, however it doesnt update as often as required and you could miss your turn because of it.

It wont connect to my watch. Ive tried several things but cant get it to work. Theres no troubleshooting tips within the app. Waste of $2 at this point. If you fix the problem I will update.

It never wants to connect, also you have to put address directly into the app. Spell address Exactly. Good in theory, full of bugs

Dont waste your money on it

It DOESNT WORK with the actual iPhone MAPS app. Its a good app with the limitations that iPhone has, still does what it supposed to do.

All it can do display maps from sources like Google. Search is low. Mostly no results if any it is wrong results. Can u not pass through search to google maps. Stop selling till u fix it

Tiny little map, wont go in direction you are traveling in, requiring you to squint and try to decipher when and where to turn- I found it impossible. Too dangerous to use while driving. Could not even get it to vibrate consistently for turns, tried all the meager settings. Tried it in compass mode to keep it up with direction of travel, and the screen went black. Simple turn by turn graphics would be much more useful.
